Satellite GOES-13 hit by meteorite - Webbot IDIR hit

Clif High has confirmed this is a webbot IDIR hit. This entry is a follow up to the entry I posted on the 28th of May explaining that weather Satellite GOES-13 was 'broken'. 'US weather satellite GOES-13 is ... broken'

Via weather.com, 10 June 2013 - One of NOAA's most important weather satellites returned to normal service last week, nearly a month after a micrometeroid struck the satellite and knocked it slightly off its path in orbit around the Earth.

GOES-13 Satellite artist's rendering.

Tests showed the GOES-13 satellite likely took a hit in the arm of its solar array panel on May 22, which shifted the satellite off its "delicate, geostationary balance" over the eastern United States, NOAA reported in a press release June 6.

The impact forced the satellite to shut down immediately, which alerted NOAA engineers to put the GOES-13 into safe mode while they studied what went wrong. The collision was determined not to have damaged the satellite's instruments or the satellite itself.

During normal operations, the GOES-13 satellite remains parked over the eastern U.S., where it monitors the East Coast and the tropical Atlantic. The data it collects is used in models for hurricanes and tropical storms, as well as models for day-to-day weather forecasting, explained Mark Elliot, a meteorologist for The Weather Channel.

"Many of the images shown on TV are images from GOES-13 and we rely on this to tell the weather story," he added. "So real time views and forecasts both come from this satellite data."

As NOAA explains on its website, the GOES satellite system is designed with backups for situations like this. "At all times, NOAA operates two GOES spacecraft -one in the East and the other in the West- both hovering 22,300 miles above the equator," its press release notes. "NOAA always keeps an additional GOES in orbital storage mode ready to step in if one of the active satellites experiences trouble."

While GOES-13 was shut down, NOAA configured two of its other GOES satellites (GOES-14 and GOES-15, which is parked over the western U.S.) to provide backup coverage for the eastern U.S. and part of the Atlantic Ocean.

The micrometeroid impact was a first for a NOAA weather satellite but hardly a first for U.S. space operations, Elliott said. The Mars Orbiter Mirrored Surface has been pelted by micrometeors in the past, and the International Space Station is protected by micrometeor shields, even for its astronauts on spacewalks.

"So these are known issues," he added. "That said, there is no clear answer for how many micrometeors may be out there, or if/when this may happen again."

Tornadic waterspout rips through the South of France

Via rt.com, 9 June 2013

A natural phenomenon more common for America, a tornado, has hit the South of France shocking locals and holidaymakers on the Côte d'Azur, the Mediterranean coastline.

As thousands in Central Europe are struggling to cope with devastating floods which have already claimed the lives of at least 21 people, a tornado ripped through the French Riviera on Sunday morning.

The violently rotating column of air and water formed off the coast not far from popular resort towns of Cannes and Nice.

The phenomenon was observed from the Cagnes-sur-Mer commune in southeastern France, rising off to Villeneuve-Loubet and Antibes, reports Nicematin.com.

So far, no damage or injury has been reported.

The incident is being widely discussed on social networking services where users – some of them freaked out others rather thrilled - share videos and photos of the “tornado.”

“OMG there was a mini tornado in my town today. In Nice!” tweeted user nicknamed Sachamallow.

“There's been a tornado in Cannes. I bet the end of the world is approaching! we're all gonna die you, will see,” noted @Amaandarine.

Meteor alert! Possible meteor outburst Tuesday morning

Via earthsky.org, 10 June 2013 - Sky watchers in North and South America are well placed for seeing a possible outburst of meteors Tuesday morning, from a mysterious stream of cometary debris, known to have crossed paths with Earth only once before, in 1930.

gamma-delphinids-radiant-cp

Forecasters Peter Jenniskens (SETI Institute) and Esko Lyytinen (Helsinki, Finland) predict the return of the Gamma Delphinid meteor shower at around 0830 UT (04:30 am EDT) on June 11, 2013. The shower is expected to last no more than about 30 minutes to an hour, producing an unknown number of bright, fast meteors. A dark location will be best for observing the shower.

North and South America are well placed for viewing a possible outburst Gamma Delphind meteors on the morning of June 11, 2013.

The Gamma Delphinids have only been seen once before, in 1930. On June 11 of that year, members of the American Meteor Society reported observing a spate of meteor activity for a 30-minute period during the night. The shower came and went within minutes and was entirely unexpected. The moon was bright that night, nearly full, and yet even bright moonlight couldn’t obscure the shower; observers witnessed a large number of meteors in the moon’s glare. Tonight (June 10-11), the moon will be largely absent from the night sky, setting soon behind the sun in early evening, leaving the sky dark for meteor-watching.

Also tonight – June 10 from 10 p.m. to June 11 2 a.m. CDT (June 11 at 0300 to 0700 UTC) – Dr. Bill Cooke of NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office will take your questions about the Gamma Delphinids via live web chat. In addition to offering viewing tips about the elusive Gamma Delphinid shower, the chat will also include a live Ustream telescope view of the skies over Huntsville, Alabama. Click here to learn more about the Gamma Delphinid chat.

The comet that spawned this shower hasn’t been identified. It may be a long-period comet, with an orbit around the sun hundreds of years long. As comets sweep around the sun, they leave behind a thin trail of icy debris. When Earth encounters a stream of cometary debris in space, the debris enters our atmosphere and vaporizes due to friction with the air. We see the vaporizing, falling debris as meteors.

Bottom line: The mysterious Gamma Delphinus meteor shower – not seen since 1930 – might create a meteor outburst Tuesday morning, June 11, 2013. North and South America are well placed for viewing the possible meteor outburst before dawn.

98,700 affected by extreme weather in NW China

Via mysinchew.com, 9 June 2013 - URUMQI, June 9 (Xinhua) -- Torrential rain, hail and floods have affected about 98,717 residents in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region since Tuesday, local authorities said on Sunday.

Strong rainfall began on Tuesday and has continued into Sunday morning, affecting Xinjiang's northern and western areas of Altay, Aksu and Tacheng, the region's civil affairs department said in a statement.

The rainstorm has damaged over 12,300 hectares of crops and killed 2,340 heads of livestock, while 303 houses have been toppled or damaged, forcing the evacuation of 939 people.

Direct economic losses are estimated to have reached 104 million yuan (about 17 million U.S.dollars), the department said.

The rainstorm has also triggered torrential floods, destroying parts of channels, sluices and infrastructure as well as electric wells, bridges and roads, it added.

Pole Shift Update [Magnetic/Axial/Geodetic Components] & 4MIN News June 4, 2013

Via transients.info

Just a note for everyone, this is the last 3/4MIN news I will be covering on a daily basis for now. The main purpose of reporting on these every day here, was to keep a close eye on the period of time set by the Farsight remote viewing climate change project, the webbot and Doctor Simon Atkins. I will most likely continue to watch Suspicious0bservers videos, when I am able to.

As  from what we can all see, the earth changes are increasing and becoming more energetically powerful as we head into the future here on Earth, so I do advise you all keep an eye on what's going on in the world when your able to.

This period we just went through seems like an important 'beginning' to me. It definitely showed an increase in many areas, from volcanic activity, to extreme rain (lakes in the sky) and flooding, to social unrest, the deepest earthquake ever recorded and a whole lot of unusual quake activity to go along with that, as well as landslides, mine collapses, ice melting and in turn causing floods, strange sun activity with the solar maximum looming, water spouts and tornadoes all over the place including the widest tornado on record (Oklahoma) etc, etc...

If you were relying on these updates, simply head on over to Suspicious0bservers YouTube channel and keep it book marked - http://www.youtube.com/user/Suspicious0bservers

Today Suspicious0bservers has done a special video which includes not only the 4MIN news, but an answer to recent questions he has been getting about the magnetic north pole shifting.

Suspicious0bservers explains that there is a definitive increase of speed in the movement of the North Magnetic Pole towards Siberia. Scientists say that the movement of the magnetic pole is 'slow and steady', but Suspicious0bservers doesn't think this is correct.

In late 2009, the magnetic north pole raced across the ocean at up to 40 miles per year, back in 2009. Since that time, it looks like there has been a moderate and short term slowdown with the magnetic north poles movement.

The pole does not go in a strait line, Suspicious0bservers points out and that it circles around. The circles that the magnetic north pole are moving around in, are shown to get smaller in the image Suspicious0bservers presents. Suspicious0bservers thinks the magnetic north pole is due for another 'bump' as it slows down. He expects it to pick back up going by the graph of its movement over the years.

Onto Suspicious0bservers news for June 4,

  • Severe flooding in Auckland, New Zealand
  • European flooding continues along with lightning in Italy
  • Storms in Canada
  •  4.7 quake in Africa (very rare)

Interplanetary Shock Wave hits Earth, source 'unknown'

The Earth's magnetic field just had around fifteen hours of continuous geomagnetic storming, which has calmed down a little now. It's been reported that the cause of the fifteen hours of Earth being bombarded with energy is from an interplanetary shock wave with an unknown source.

Current speculation focuses on a corotating interaction region (CIR)--that is, a shock-like transition zone between high- and low-speed solar wind streams, the space weather site reports.

Above is the K index graph for the past three days. As you can see, the kp index hit the Kp=6 range for a period of time only hours ago and went back down to Kp=4. The Kp index is a measurement of disturbances in the horizontal component of earth's magnetic field with 0 being very calm, or basically none, and 5 meaning a geomagnetic storm has been reached.

Out of interest to the reader, the label 'K' comes from the German word 'Kennziffer' which means  'characteristic digit'.

As mentioned, this interplanetary shock wave which caused a fifteen hour disturbances in Earth's magnetic field, created a solar storm as well. A measurement of Kp=6 is calculated into a G 2 class Geomagnetic Storm, going by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Space Weather Scale. There are five ranks within this scale, ranging from minor, moderate, strong, finally to extreme. This recent Geomagnetic Storm would be classified as 'Moderate'.

Here is a definition of the possible issues that a G 2 class Geomagnetic Storm could cause.

  • Power systems: high-latitude power systems may experience voltage alarms, long-duration storms may cause transformer damage.
  • Spacecraft operations: corrective actions to orientation may be required by ground control; possible changes in drag affect orbit predictions.
  • Other systems: HF radio propagation can fade at higher latitudes, and aurora has been seen as low as New York and Idaho (typically 55° geomagnetic lat.)

However, when you combine the recent activity from energies from space, say over the past two weeks since the series of four X-class solar flares, a cumulative affect may be building up here so we shouldn't limit our thinking just to the above definition of what this impact could cause. As you can also see with your own eyes, the climate globally on Earth is doing some strange things, along with the weather. There have been a number of large impacting electricity failures at different locations around the planet, over the past two weeks as well.

The number of active volcanoes for this point in time is double the average for the year. The Earthquake activity around the planet is very, very unusual. The strange tornado activity in the Northern Hemisphere is energetically connected to all of this as well.

The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) has afluxgate magnetometer, residing at the ionospheric observatory in Gakona, Alaska, has picked up the above readings during this recent time period mentioned. The three traces represent mutually orthogonal components of the earth's magnetic field.

The "H" component (black trace) is positive magnetic northward
The "D" component (red trace) is positive eastward
The "Z" component (blue trace) is positive downward

As you can see above, over the time period of the last month, the recent activity on the scale went above 500 for the northward sensor and also below -500 for the eastward sensor.

The Northern Lights (Aurora's) spilled across the Canadian border and descended into the contiguous United States as far south as Colorado and Nebraska, space weather has mentioned.

So, the question remains, what caused this interplanetary shock wave?

We did just have Asteroid 1998 QE2 fly past yesterday. Space rocks that pass by the Earth have been theorised to possibly cause an energetic impact of sorts. Asteroid 1998 QE2 was one of the larger ones we have seen, at 2.7 km's (1.7 miles) wide. It is said that Asteroid 1998 QE2 even had it's own Moon.

But at the same time, the Sun has had a very large Coronal Hole earth facing, which has been releasing a constant stream of solar wind based plasma energy, towards the Earth. This strongly indicates that the Sun is reaching its 11 year cycle solar maximum because of the coronal holes position on the surface of the Sun.

It's always possible an 'Interplanetary Shock Wave' came to us from another location, such as a Gamma-ray Burst. I know that a few days ago, there was a series of GRB's going off, day after day.

You may remember my article from Valiant, 'The pulse, the shifting of the earth and the shape of things to come...', which I quote,

"But things will change...
One weekend in May..
The Pulse.
Skies on Fire..."
...
"There’s no turning back now...no changing things. The Shape of things to come...WILL BE."

Of course, I don't take time and dates so seriously with future predictions, so one weekend in May could easily move into June and I wouldn't consider this a failed prediction simply because of not getting the timing right. It is the weekend right now...

I'm going to quote a few paragraphs below from my detailed summary of the Global Coastal Event, once again!

"Cliff has discussed data supporting the idea of intrusions from space. He says it shows up in Courtney Browns remote viewing work. Cliff says he expects we will see a plasma event that won't produce a CME, but will create some amazing shapes and beautiful electrical occurrences in the sky/atmosphere and at the same time, a high energy stream will come down into the middle of the planet and trigger a sudden plate expansion and possible crack in the Pacific's plate.
The Global Coastal Event will be contending with a lack of electricity because of the plasma events operating very wide spread, like an EMP event, on a global scale. It may not destroy the power grid in total, but will cause a lot of damage."

Well, right now we have had a plasma related event, which wasnot from a CME / Solar Flare and it has produced some interesting northern lights. We are also going through a period of time with major electricity disruptions right now. Millions lost power in Thailand, Vietnam and Kenya recently.

Again, another quote from my summary of the Global Coastal Event,

"E50 Wujo, 20 April 2013 - Clif high mentions that the information is showing a 'pulsation deep inside the planet'.
He reiterates 'deep down within the earth' is clearly what the data is showing. He mentions the 'sphere of the earth being closed' and that something has to happen for this energy within the Earth to have to be released.
Clif High mentions many data sets right now showing energy needs to escape and work it self out from inside the Earth. So its pretty clear that because of this situation within the Earth, events will occur on the surface as a result."

Within an article I posted that was from Drunvalo,'Drunvalo – The untold positive side of the Mayan Prophecies I quote the following,

"We are receiving – from the center of the galaxy – there is a pulse that is going directly to our Sun, and the sun is sending out these HUGE magnetic pulses that go to OUR magnetic field and making changes within us – within our DNA. This is not a time to be afraid of the sun. You need to tune into it and see what it’s doing to you and feel what is changing inside of you. When the solar flares are going on Drunvalo goes outside and soaks up the sun. It’s the direct connection to life."

Well, I better finish off here and I will leave you with a few more photos of the amazing northern lights from as a result of this interplanetary shock wave.

"Last night, I drove to Crater Lake National Park to photograph the Milky Way rising above the rim," reports Oregon photographer Brad Goldpaint. "I was staring upward towards a clear night sky when suddenly, without much warning, the aurora borealis began erupting in front of me. With adrenaline pumping, I raced to the edge of the caldera, set up a time-lapse sequence, and watched northern lights dance until sunrise," he continues. "The moon rose around 2am and blanketed the surrounding landscape with a faint glow, adding depth and texture to the shot." - spaceweather.com
