Planet Nine’s days of lurking unseen in the dark depths of the outer solar system may be numbered.

The hypothetical giant planet, which is thought to be about 10 times more massive than Earth, will be discovered within 16 months or so, astronomer Mike Brown predicted.

“I’m pretty sure, I think, that by the end of next winter — not this winter, next winter — I think that there’ll be enough people looking for it that … somebody’s actually going to track this down,” Brown said during a news conference Wednesday (Oct. 19) at a joint meeting of the American Astronomical Society’s Division for Planetary Sciences (DPS) and the European Planetary Science Congress (EPSC) in Pasadena, California. Brown said that eight to 10 groups are currently looking for the planet. 

At the “next one of these [DPS-EPSC meetings], we’ll be talking about finding Planet Nine instead of just looking for it,” added Brown, who’s based at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena.

That would be a pretty quick path from hypothetical planet to confirmed world. The existence of Planet Nine was seriously proposed for the first time just in 2014, by astronomers Scott Sheppard and Chadwick Trujillo, of the Carnegie Institution for Science in Washington, D.C., and the Gemini Observatory in Hawaii, respectively.

Sheppard and Trujillo noted that the dwarf planet Sedna, the newfound object 2012 VP113 and several other bodies far beyond Pluto share certain odd orbital characteristics, a coincidence that would make sense if their paths through space had been shaped by an unseen, giant “perturber” in the region.

The researchers suggested that this putative planet is perhaps two to 15 times more massive than Earth and lies hundreds of astronomical units (AU) from the sun. (One AU is the Earth-sun distance, about 93 million miles, or 150 million kilometers.)

This interpretation was bolstered in January of this year by Brown and fellow Caltech astronomer Konstantin Batygin, who found evidence of a perturber’s influence in the orbits of a handful of additional distant objects. This “Planet Nine,” as Batygin and Brown dubbed the putative world, likely contains about 10 Earth masses and orbits on a highly elliptical path whose aphelion (farthest distance from the sun) is about 1,000 AU, the researchers said. (For perspective, Pluto gets just 49.3 AU from the sun at aphelion.)

The evidence for Planet Nine’s existence has continued to grow over the past nine months, as several different research teams have determined that the orbits of other small, distant objects appear to have been sculpted as well.

One team, led by Renu Malhotra of the University of Arizona, discussed four such objects at the DPS/EPSC meeting Wednesday. And Brown’s team, led by Elizabeth Bailey of Caltech, announced at the meeting on Tuesday (Oct. 18) that Planet Nine appears to have tilted the orbits of all eight “official” planets by 6 degrees relative to the sun.

The ongoing Planet Nine research also includes efforts to pin down where the world might be in the sky these days. This is a key part of the discovery effort, since a blind search for an object so far away, and with such a huge and elliptical orbit, has little chance of success in the near term, Brown has said.

It’s likely that Planet Nine is currently at or near aphelion, located perhaps 1,000 AU from the sun, in a patch of sky measuring about 400 square degrees, Brown said. (For comparison, the full moon viewed from Earth covers about 0.5 degrees of sky.)

Astronomers have said Planet Nine is perhaps four times wider than Earth, and such an object would be easily visible with professional-grade equipment if it were relatively close to Earth, Brown explained. In addition, planets on highly elliptical orbits spend most of their time near aphelion, since they’re traveling most slowly on this part of their path, he said.

An object four times bigger than Earth that’s located at 1,000 AU would have a magnitude of about +25 on astronomers’ brightness scale, Brown added.

“This is well within reach of the giant telescopes,” he said. “The Subaru telescope, I think, on Mauna Kea, [in Hawaii] — the Japanese national telescope — is the prime instrument for doing the search. But there are a lot of other people who have clever ideas on how to find it, too, that are trying with their own telescopes.”

So which research team will ultimately find Planet Nine? Brown said he isn’t sure, and he stressed that getting credit for the historic discovery should be a secondary concern for astronomers. 

“There are a lot of people looking, and we are trying as hard as we can to tell people where to look,” he said. “We want it to be found.”

The evidence for Planet Nine was unveiled by Caltech scientists Mike Brown (at left, a prolific Kuiper Belt object hunter) and Konstantin Batygin. The duo used mathematical models and computer simulations to map out Planet Nine’s orbit after spotting a strange alignment in the orbits of six other Kuiper Belt objects.

The mythical “Planet X” is actually real, and scientists are calling it “Planet Nine.”

Astronomers have found evidence for a planet 10 times more massive than Earth in the far outer solar system, orbiting about 20 times farther from the sun than distant Neptune does.

“This would be a real ninth planet,” one of the researchers, Mike Brown of the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena, said in a statement. “There have only been two true planets discovered since ancient times, and this would be a third. It’s a pretty substantial chunk of our solar system that’s still out there to be found, which is pretty exciting.” 

This potential “Planet Nine” has not yet been observed. But Brown and his colleague, Konstantin Batygin, also of Caltech, are inferring its likely existence based on modeling work and the weird orbits of a number of small objects in the faraway Kuiper Belt, which lies beyond Neptune.

Specifically, six Kuiper Belt objects (KBOs) cruise around the sun on elliptical paths that all point in the same direction, even though the bodies are moving at different speeds. In addition, the six KBOs’ orbits all share the same tilt — roughly 30 degrees downward, relative to the plane of the eight officially recognized planets. (Pluto, which was the ninth planet until its 2006 reclassification by the International Astronomical Union, zips around the sun in a different plane.)

The odds of this latter phenomenon occurring by chance alone are about 0.007 percent, researchers said.

“Basically, it shouldn’t happen randomly,” Brown said. “So we thought something else must be shaping these orbits.”

Magnetic Pole Shift Accelerating

Moral of the story---we shouldn't allow the most dangerous thing on earth (nuclear power plants and nuclear waste) to exist on our HOME PLANET, when we know for a fact that our home planet is not stable, and in fact is getting more unstable.

I first noticed the magnetic pole shift around 2006, being a pilot and a solar engineer I often took measurements, and for a while nothing was lining up the way it used to, so I tried a few different compasses.   I thought it strange, and I thought it stranger that no one was talking about it.

I wouldn't say this was the "kick off" to my impression that things were getting wacky in the world.   Maybe the first was the doubling of property values in less than 2 years that let me get out from an underwater property to a nice profit.

But lets put it this way....the "experts" are often just making stuff up, to get their grant money and help their universities get federal funding.

NASA is downplaying magnetic shift saying "it happens all the time", as are  other parrots of the "don't panic the sheep" cartel.   These things are suspicious.   The experts can all justify their actions by rationalizing that avoiding panic is better than dealing with what is going to happen anyway.

Classic writing say that a north south magnetic pole shift happens every 320,000 years or so with wide variations, and that the last one was 700,000 years ago.

However, some pretty credible data cross correlated from the Black Sea, the Laschamp event in the Massif Central, and Greenland data, and shows a "rapid" 250 year complete pole shift, around 41,000 years ago, followed by a european super volcano around 39,500 years ago.

And let me throw this in....what about that really cool rise of Cro-Magnon man and epic cave paintings around 35,000 to 39,000?     Indeed, magnetic pole shift appears to occurs with a lessening of overall magnetic field, which allows more cosmic radiation in to the home planet, which allows for more DNA damage and the occasionally successful mutation that works better.    Saber toothed tigers probably kept the cancer rates in check pretty well.

We are in a period of very fast movement of the magnetic pole, and it appears the north pole has the itchy feet and the south pole is more stable.

But nothing to worry about....NASA says the pole flips "all the time", and other experts state that there is no evidence that a pole flip was harmful in the past (maybe check the IPhone data records), and that most people wouldn't even notice a pole flip.    Yeah, very reassuring, why don't you guy at least focus on detecting these 153,000 asteroids like the one that hit the earth in April 2012.    An amateur astronomer found it just days before it hit.

Planet X - our binary partner?

In the messages on the Planet X of the 2012 Glorious Hope, Pastor Wind shared with us that the Solar System that our Earth situated in, is probably a Double Sun System. It means that the Sun we see every day, is not the only sun in the Solar System. Probably there is another Dark Star, which resolves with the sun with a binary circle of 22,000 to 26,000 years.

The Planet X is a Brown Dwarf which has never lit. Besides, it has a long elliptical orbit, which revolves around the Sun and the Dark Star for every 3,600 years. In 1972, NASA launched Pioneer 10 and 11 to seek for the Dark Star and the Planet X. Till 1983, NASA also launched IRAS, which discovered the Planet X. At the same time, they probably also discovered the existence of the Dark Star. However, few days after the release of the findings of the Planet X, NASA immediately changed their words and denied the existence of the Planet X and even the Dark Star.

Indeed, the Double Sun System or a Multi-sun Solar System is a very common type of Solar System in the universe.

As early as 1970s to 1980s, the famous science popularization novelist Isaac Asimov, and the former spokesperson of NASA public relation and the legendary astronomer, Carl Sagan, they all believed in the existence of another Dark Star in the Solar System. Also, this Dark Star was the cause of catastrophe that happened regularly on Earth.

Three years before Isaac Asimov passed away, in 1989, he published a space science fiction called Nemesis. Nemesis pointed out that this Dark Star will cause catastrophe on Earth.

In the novel of Nemesis, Isaac Asimov once described why nobody took notice of this Dark Star. It is because it came from Earth’s far southern sky. So, most of the telescopes couldn’t even point in that direction.

"There was no reason to notice it. No one looked at it. It's in Earth's far southern sky, so that most of the telescopes in pre-Settlement days couldn't even point in that direction." 

Indeed, this matches what Pastor Wind has described that the Planet X would come from the southern part of the Ecliptic of the Solar System, so that man could only see the star when they were in the South Pole with the telescope.

On February 17, 2011, the Astrophysicists of the University of Louisiana, John Matese and Daniel Whitmire both claimed that it was possible that outside the Solar System, there was another great planet called Tyche.

Indeed, on December 9, 2009, in the Preparation Camp of the 2012 Glorious Hope Message, Pastor Wind shared with us that, at the moment, other than the Sun we know and the nine planets including Pluto, there was another mysterious planet called the Planet X.

Coincidently, various information of the Planet X matched the information of Tyche.

For example, the data described that Tyche was very huge, which was bigger than Jupiter by 4 times, the biggest planet in the solar system with mass equals to 5,300 earths.

Similarly, Pastor Wind also shared with us that the Planet X was probably bigger than Jupiter by 4 times. This matched the information of the Tyche, which was discovered in 2011. Besides, it pointed out that Tyche ws similar to Jupiter, which was a gas planet formed by Hydrogen and Helium and a Brown Dwarf that not yet lit up.

This matched what Pastor Wind described about the Planet X, which wzs a Brown Dwarf too.

But , these scientists also pointed out that, they needed to use WISE Satellite Telescope to find out more information in order to prove the existence of this great planet Tyche and its location.

In the beginning of 2011, another Astronomer said to the public that Betelgeuse of Orion will probably collapse and explode as a supernova. And there will be two suns on the sky of the Earth for a few days.

Indeed, did NASA hide the fact from the public as early as 1984? It is because they do not want the public to know the fact that they have discovered the Planet X and the Dark Star for such a long period of time, since both of them will bring disasters to the Earth just like what is prophesied in the Revelation.
